Bird Atlas Project 2 (SABAP2) - Assistance Required
The NHSS has agreed to
coordinate the activities for the second Bird Atlas project in Swaziland. We
need as many birders in Swaziland as possible to do field work for the
project.
Anybody who is
interested needs to register before doing any field work. This can be done
on line at www.sabap2.org or by
e-mailing their name, postal address and contact details to
info@sabap2.org .Once registered you
will receive a SABAP2 Observer number and SABAP2 Observer Card.
Please advise us once
you have received your registration so that we can provide you with the
relevant Maps , Field Data Sheets and Record Sheets for your area.
The project will extend
for four years and can be done around your home or in specific areas you may
want to visit in Swaziland. The recent visit to Mafuteni is an example where
Lee Howe has used our sightings for the day for SABAP2. The minimum time for
a survey is 2hours.
